Click Aventail's menu-bar icon → Preferences… to check your device, manage models and change startup or appearance settings.

For connection problems, follow Link troubleshooting. Review logs and diagnostic files for credentials or personal data before sharing them.

Models

Each installed model shows its name, quantisation, size, context and status. Use the checkbox beside it to enable or disable serving; finish active requests before disabling it. Test and Remove appear on the same row.

Under Available to download, select Download beside the model you want. Wait for installation to finish before serving it. The catalogue depends on your account.

General

• Start at login launches Aventail Link when you sign in to your Mac.
• Theme offers System, Light and Dark. System follows your desktop theme.

Danger zone

Uninstall Aventail Link… is at the bottom of Preferences. Read Uninstall Link before using it; removal affects the local runtime and data.

For service restart or a change of account, use the restart and re-registration guides.

View the older Locai Link (Legacy Aventail) 1.x reference

The older app used separate Agent, Network and Advanced panels. Agent contained Stop, Restart and Re-register; Advanced contained Logs, Root and Uninstall Locai Link. These controls are not the layout shown above.
