Read the menu-bar guide
The captured Aventail Link 2.0.0 menu shows:
| Control | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Status header | See the node name and its connection status |
| Models | Open controls for this node's models |
| Open Control Plane | Open Control in your default browser |
| Open a Workspace | Open Workspace for chat |
| Preferences… | Check device health, manage models and choose startup or theme settings in Preferences |
| Quit | Finish active requests before quitting; check the service status afterward |
Wait for a model's status to settle before changing it again. A model download and a running serving endpoint are different states.

These preserved screenshots show the older Linux tray menu. Locai Link (Legacy Aventail) 1.x also offered Download models…; this item is not present in the captured Aventail 2.0.0 main menu.
In Locai Link (Legacy Aventail) 1.x, an incomplete setup could offer Continue Setup…. Check the account and device state before resuming; do not register repeatedly to recover a missing window.
For the first-run sequence, see Install Link on macOS.
If the icon or status is wrong
For Aventail Link 2.0.0, check aventail status using the full installed path. The old app in Applications, labelled Locai Link, and locai status belong to 1.x. See Link troubleshooting for an offline agent or a disconnected network.
