Choose your product-analytics preference in Control and review device reporting separately.

### Find the analytics preference

Privacy control captured 28 September 2026.

1. **Choose your preference**

Open Settings → Privacy and use the Usage analytics switch.

2. **Distinguish reporting paths**

This preference concerns product analytics. It does not establish that all device reporting or application storage has stopped.

    - Device operations: Status, deployment and inference records
    - Your applications: Review their own storage and reporting

## Change the preference

Open **Settings → Privacy** in Control and use the **Usage analytics** switch. It was enabled on the demo account checked on 28 September 2026.

The card describes this as product-usage analytics. It is separate from the device status, deployment events and inference records that Control uses to manage devices.

## Understand the data flow

Running a model locally describes where inference executes. It does not establish what a connected application, plugin or reporting pipeline stores or transmits.

For the tested Link chat request, Control displayed a **stats\_only** inference record. Other model types and configured pipelines may report different information.

Check your organisation's requirements against the current privacy terms and your application settings. For details about collected fields, retention or deletion, contact [support@locai.co.uk](mailto:support@locai.co.uk). The analytics switch alone is not evidence that all device reporting has stopped.
